ALPHA

Alpha at CPH 2026

Alpha offers a relaxed, welcoming space to explore life’s big questions and experience the gift of faith. All are welcome—Catholic, from another Christian tradition, or simply curious.

Sessions begin Tuesday, 21 April at St Mary’s and run for 10 weeks, 6:00–8:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to invite others, and parishioners are asked to keep the programme in their prayers.

Watch the videos below or learn more about Alpha in a Catholic context. We look forward to journeying with you! For questions or support, please contact the CPH office.

What Does an Alpha Session Look Like?

All sessions begin with a time to connect, relax, and build friendships over a shared meal. Eating together creates space for people to connect and share life on a deeper level.

Hospitality

The Alpha talks are designed to engage people from all walks of life and spark conversation. They explore life’s big questions and the basics of Christian belief, addressing topics such as: “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?”, and “How does God guide us?”

Talk

The discussion time is an opportunity for people to respond to the talk, hear from others, and contribute their own perspective in small groups within an honest, friendly, and open environment.
