Bishop John presided over the first group guided by the new Life Teen International Confirmation programme, PURPOSE

The Confirmation programme for youth in 2026 will begin on Sunday, 26 April. Sessions will take place on Sundays as part of the Life Teen programme, starting at 4:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church. Please register via the CPH Youth page.

Confirmation is a personal Pentecost—a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the baptised. The sacrament is ordinarily celebrated once per year, typically for teenagers aged 14–17 who have already received Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Holy Communion. Teenagers still needing any of these sacraments are also welcome—please note this in the comments section of the registration form on the CPH Youth page.

Adults who have already been baptised as Catholics can request Confirmation either through the RCIA process or separately by contacting the CPH Office.
