The Well — Catholic Women's Group

“The water I give will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” — John 4:14

The Well is a welcoming space for women in our parish to deepen their faith, build meaningful friendships, and encourage one another in spiritual growth. What began in January 2026 as simple coffee conversations between Pippa, Moana, and Katey is growing into a supportive community where women can pray, reflect, and share life together.

Many who gather are in the busy middle seasons of life—balancing work, family, and other commitments, yet women of all ages are warmly welcome. We value the richness of sharing across generations, offering wisdom, encouragement, and insight that strengthens our walk with God.

We meet fortnightly on Monday evenings (7:00–8:30pm) at the CPH Office, and weekly during Lent, creating a rhythm that fits around full lives. We also welcome guest speakers to share their experiences and reflections. Between gatherings, we stay connected through our WhatsApp group, supporting and encouraging one another throughout the week.

Shaped by the liturgical year, The Well offers space for ongoing renewal, with hopes for future retreats and faith-based gatherings. All are welcome—if you’re interested, please get in touch.

Behind the Name

The Well takes its name from the Gospel story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:1–42). In that encounter, Jesus meets her in the ordinary moments of life and offers her the “living water” of faith, renewal, and hope. In the same spirit, The Well is a place where women gather to pause, share life, and encounter Christ together.

It reminds us that we can always return to that living spring—to be refreshed and renewed. As we pray, listen, and learn from one another, we seek to become like that living spring, encouraging one another and growing in faith.
